Martin ‘Marty’ Stover, 52, of Youngsville, passed away May 3, 2025 in Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.
He was born September 6, 1972 in Warren. Marty grew up on Cole Hill in Garland. A son of Thomas and Rosemary (Anthony) Stover, who survive him. Marty worked at Stec Lumber and Ellwood National Forge for many years. He enjoyed being a Cub Scout leader, smoking meats, splitting and stacking wood, hanging out back in the pavilion at the Crist Cozy Campground and earlier in his life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Derek Wachter of Pittsfield, Seth (Shana) Wachter of Warren, Quinn (Abby) Wachter of Clarendon, and Alexis Stover of Warren; his siblings, Laura (James) Jewell of Colorado, Travis Stover of Sugar Grove, Jessica (Tracy) Langworthy of Warren; his grandchildren Katie Mae, Grayson, Norah, and Everleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in his death by his sister-in-law, Erin and his wife, Melissa (Crist) Stover, whom he married March 4, 2004.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th from 6-8pm at the Pittsfield Otterbein Global Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St, Pittsfield, PA 16340.
