Nancy Patchen Obituary

Nancy Patchen, 82, of Youngsville, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025 at the Rouse Warren County Home.  


She was born on January 4th, 1943, in Warren to the late Frederick and Anna (Quint) Gustafson. Nancy had worked several jobs over the years but was best known for her countless hours of volunteer work at Warren General Hospital. She lived her life in quiet service. 


She is survived by her four children, Michael (Pennie) Carnahan Sr. of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, Sherri (William) Pierce of Gibsonville, North Carolina, Cara Seekings of Fredonia, New York and Robert (Jodi) Patchen of Minot, South Dakota and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Patchen Sr., a grandson, Dominic Suppa III, two sisters, Linda Youngquist and Caroline Thompson and a brother, Roy Burrows. 


A memorial service will be held on August 16th 2025, 4:00 pm at Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371. 


The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA 16365.
