Nanette D. Bahner (Davis) 57, of Youngsville, formerly of Halifax, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Miller Wagner of Middletown; her brother, Tim Davis (Carol Davis) of Halifax; her children, Chelsea Cressley (Scott Mohney) of Youngsville, Chase Brubaker of Halifax, Cyane Telschow (JT Telschow) of Youngsville, and Gwendeline Lebzelter (TJ Campbell) of Middletown; her grandchildren, Landon, Keira, Yhazmine, and Serenity; nephew Quinton and niece Melody.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Wagner, her adoptive father, George Davis, and her grandson Harlow Telschow.
She was born in Harrisburg, Pa, a 1982 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School. Nanette previously worked as a school bus driver for First Student in Middletown, Pa, but really considered her greatest accomplishment being a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She was a lover of animals, and especially loved her kitties. Nan was a people person and never hesitated to help anyone in need. She took many neighborhood kids under her wing and treated them and loved them as her own. Even when she was a pain in the rear-end, everyone who encountered her always seemed to love her, as she did them. She was a free spirit and always marched to the beat of her own drum.
The family would like to thank Nanette's medical team at the Warren Cancer Center and the Warren County Hospice Association for all the care and kindness her and her family received.
The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Youngsville, have been entrusted with all arrangements. Condolences to the family may be made at www.nelsonfuneralhome.net.
