Norman K. Olson, 92, of Irvine, Pa, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Rouse Warren County Home in Youngsville, Pa.
He was born on October 17, 1929 in Kane, Pa, a son to the late Oliver N. and Edith Grace (Newhouse) Olson. Norman was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He worked at the National Forge for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a ham operator for Amateur Radio. Norman attended the Saron Lutheran Church in Youngsville.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Corey of Warren, Jean (David) Amstutz of Gibsonia, Pa and Joanne (Charles) Miller of Houston, TX; his brother, Karl (Carol) Olson of Pleasant Twp. and 4 grandchildren, Eric, Paul, Carrie and Sarah.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Mahney) Olson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 28, at 11am at the Saron Lutheran Church, 148 W. Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371. Private burial will follow in Warren County Memorial Park.
