Orland DeMore

Orland DeMore, 84, of Pittsfield, PA, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 with his wife and daughter by his side.

Orland was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 25, 1939, a son to the late Orlando and Dorothy (Matesich) DeMore.

He served his country in the United States Army before moving to Pittsfield, PA where he was a Carpenter and Cabinet Maker for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, Orland was preceded in death by a brother, Charles DeMore and a daughter, Erin DeMore Stover.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet DeMore; his daughter, Michelle DeMore (Kevin); a son-in-law, Travis Stover and a sister, Marlene Santini.

As per Orland’s request, no services will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, PA 16371 or to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA 16365.
