Preston E. Cottrell

Preston E. Cottrell, 67, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. 

He was born in Looneyville, WV on February 18, 1956, a son to the late Robert and Ruby Mae (Potts) Cottrell. Preston worked for Mick Brothers Lumber for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking.

He is survived by his children, TSgT (RET) Darrell (Jenny) McCumber USAF of Burlington, NJ, Roger Cottrell and his companion, Sarah Hartman, of Clarendon, and Andrew Cottrell of Pittsfield; his step-daughter, Tawnya Midcap of Spartansburg; his sisters, Wilma Crane and Lisa Cheryl Hultberg; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Preston was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Cottrell.

A celebration of life will be held on March 16th at 5:00PM at the Brokenstraw Fish & Game Club, 1011 Mead Run Road, Youngsville, PA.
