Randy D. Baumgardner, 72, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 24, 1953, in Titusville, PA, a son to the late Phillip and Pauline (Waychoff) Baumgardner. Randy worked for the postal service for many years and was a member of the Youngsville American Legion Post #658. He enjoyed traveling, reading, hiking and woodworking. He spent a lot of time riding his tractor and tending to his pets, which he enjoyed very much.

Randy is survived by his wife, Alicia (Smith) Baumgardner, who he married on September 24, 2011 at the Interfaith Chapel in Warren; his children, Carla Baumgardner and her significant other, David Tremblay, of Warren, Erin Baumgardner and her significant other, Aaron Childers, of Bend, OR, Monica (Nicolas) Martell of Marysville, WA, Greta Baumgardner and her significant other,  Gabe Bighouse, of Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Joseph Baumgardner and his significant other, Toni Dunn, of Warren; his sister, Kathy (Rick) Abplanalp of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Zander Martell, Rylee and Poppy Baumgardner, Kip, Byrdie, Amora, Yara and Skye Bighouse, Dylan and Madison Smith, Kaden Freeborough and Ashlyn Becker as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Felt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, PA 16371, from 11am-12pm at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. Nancy Schwanke, pastor of the Interfaith Chapel, officiating.
