Richard C. McAllister

Richard C. McAllister, 84, a long-term resident of Ashtabula Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Warren Manor in Pleasant Township, PA.

He was born on August 6, 1940 in Youngsville, PA, a son to the late Harland and Dorothy (Johnson) McAllister. Richard worked as a transportation manager. He loved to fish, hunt and camp. He enjoyed viewing the hills, valleys, and rivers of his home after his return.

He is survived by his Sister-in-law, Zelma, sons, Mike (Cindy) of Pittsfield and Jim (Joan) of Chardon, OH; 5 grandchildren, Clinton, Mitchell, Matthew, Rick, Brittany, as well as 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan “Bud” McAllister and a sister, Joan “Mick” (Dick) Littlefield.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00pm the Irvine Presbyterian Church, 885 National Forge Road, Irvine, PA 16329.

Memorial donations may be made to the Irvine Presbyterian Church.
