Rita R. (Dewatter) Stover

Rita R. Stover, 86, of Russell, passed away on May 21, 2026 at the Rouse Warren County Home.

Rita was born on January 27, 1940, in Warren, to the late Fred and Edna (Vinton) DeWatter. She had worked at the North American Phillips Co., and Blair Corp. for many years.  Rita enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived ed by her children, Terry (Bev) Stover and Jeff Stover, both of Garland, Richard Stover and James Stover, both of Russell, Kristie Carlson of Sinclairville, NY, Scott (Christine) Stover of Warren, a sister Janet McChesney of Russell and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stover and a sister, Susan Haney.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
