Roxana M. (Hansen) Ross, (nelsonfuneralhome.net) 86, of Corry, Pa, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Corry Manor, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 7, 1936, a daughter to the late Lawrence and Sara (Tozer) Hansen. Roxana was a part of the first graduating class of nursing at Hamot School in 1957. She was employed by various doctors in the Corry area as well as the Corry hospital and Corry Manor. She also worked at Walmart as a cashier and greeter, retiring after 6 years. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Corry and was a member of the Corry Moose Lodge #98. She enjoyed bowling, word puzzles and watching Netflix but, most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Teresa J. Ross  and her companion, Bill “Ski” Maciejewski of Clovis, NM and Phyllis Armstrong and her husband, Richard, of Pittsfield, Pa; a brother, Victor Hansen and his wife, Lucille, of Corry, Pa; 4 granddaughters, Maria Ochalek and her husband, Kevin, of Oil City, Pa, Heather Reese and her companion, Anthony Peru, of Jamestown, NY, Melissa Reese Epps and her husband, Alonzo, of Hampton, VA, Jennifer Holland Cole and her husband, Anthony, of Isanti, MN; 2 grandsons, Matthew Ohler and his wife, Christina, of WI and David Reese of Clymer, NY; 10 great-grandchildren, Tristin, Trinity, Chase., Emily, Taylor, Aiden, Fox, Sarah, Brooklyn and Victoria; a step-great-granddaughter, Silna and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Roxana was preceded in death by her husband, George P. Ross and her sister, Lorainne “Sissy” Eddings.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371, from 11-1pm at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Rev. Jeffrey Canter, pastor of the Youngsville EUM Church, officiating.
