Roxene (Bull) Phillips, 75, of Garland, PA, passed away at Warren General Hospital on December 5th after a brief illness. She had resided at Cambridge Warren since February. She was born November 14, 1947, at Warren General Hospital, to the late John and Harriet (Simpson) Bull.
A graduate of Youngsville High School in 1965, she took pride in her sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking. She led cub scouts and helped with girl scouts. She was very fond of her high school friends and enjoyed visiting with them and attending alumni functions.
She is survived by her children Steven Phillips (Martha) of Columbia, SC, Kimberly Bobik (Gregory) of Downingtown, PA, and Denny Phillips of Shelocta, PA; her grandchildren Lillian Bobik and Thaddeus Phillips and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James J. Phillips and her sister Clarice Thomas of Manchester, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 8th at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, Pa 16371, from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held there on Friday at 11am. Burial will take place at Warren County Memorial Park and will be private.
