Russell Andrew Coy passed away suddenly on May 8, 2023, in Warren, PA.
Russell was a hardworking man who spent most of his career painting houses in the Warren area.
Russ was born on February 24, 1958, in Warren, PA, to Alice A. Hulings and Russell H. Coy. He was a proud man, stubborn, and kind. He was also a man of faith and attended Praise Fellowship in Russell, PA.
Russ loved dogs, old country music, and Westerns. He was always looking to reel in a big catch while fishing or beat his opponents in a game of cards. He was a man of simple pleasures but enjoyed them thoroughly.
Russ is survived by his brother, Robert Coy; his daughter, Lady Brittney May Jordan (Coy); his son-in-law, The Rt Rev’d Dr. Vincent E. Jordan; and his granddaughters, Cheyenne Jordan, Lakota Jordan, and Cherokee Jordan along with his longtime girlfriend Lorna Johnston and a few close friends.
His mother, Alice A. Dutchess (Hulings), and his father, Russell H. Coy, preceded him in death.
In memory of Russ, the family is trying to plan a fishing day to celebrate his life. Contributions can be made to the Warren Co. Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
Russ will be remembered by his loved ones as a hardworking, kind, and devoted man. His dedication to his work and his love for simple pleasures will be cherished by those who knew him. Pain and suffering will be no more, may you take your rest.
The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville were entrusted with all arrangements. Condolences to the family my be made at www.nelsonfuneralhome.net
