Sadie Louise Lind, 96, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Warren General Hospital.

She was born on November 1, 1927 in Sheffield to the Late James and Sadie (Pierce) Harkins. On May 21, 1949, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Lind.

Sadie worked several places in her early years, but found her true passion caring for others by working at the Rouse Home, and later as a home health care provider. She enjoyed reading, bowling, baking, playing cards (she liked to win), taking care of her home, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son Tim (Bev) Lind of Yahala, FL;  daughters, Sandra Andress of High Point, NC, and Jane Chapman of Pittsfield, PA; a brother Robert Harkins of Phoenix, AZ; grandsons Todd (Sara) Lind, Greg Andress, Chris (Amy) Andress, Matt (Jodie) Chapman, and Thomas (Bridget) Chapman; a granddaughter Emily (Erik) Undzius; great grandchildren Tyler, Colby, Casey, Kayla, Peyton, Dylan, and one great, great grandson, Gunner.

In addition to her parents, and her husband in 2017, she is proceeded in death by 6 brothers, and 6 sisters; her granddaughter Amy in 1998, and a son-in-law, Wesley in 2020.

Visitation will be held at the NelsonFuneral Home, 314 North Main St. Youngsville, PA, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 3pm to 4pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery, Pittsfield, PA.
