Sarah “Sally” Eggleston, 66, of Tucker, GA, passed away at the home of her sister, Mary, on Wednesday January 3, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.


She was born March 28, 1957 in Warren to the late John and Regis (Niver) Eggleston. She graduated from Penn State with a theater degree.  She had worked as a web designer and also at many theaters, including ones in Houston, San Fransisco, and Atlanta.  Sally loved to travel. She had visited New Zealand, Ireland, Italy and Mexico with her traveling buddy, Tammy Johnson. She also loved beach week. She loved to read and write and had written many screen plays and novels. The last job she had worked at before retiring was at Senior Connections, a job she loved.  The family is thankful to all of her wonderful friends in the Atlanta area that looked after her and took  her to her many appointments.


She is survived by her siblings, Diane Hoh of Warren, Linda (John) Hagberg of Sugar Grove, John (Karen) Eggleston of Warren, James (Vickie) Eggleston of Warren, Thomas (Charlene) Eggleston of Fairview, Maggie (Dave) Brunecz of Acworth, GA, Mary (Bob) Passinger of Youngsville, 22 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Betty Hoffman.


Per Sally’s wishes, no services will be held.


The family suggest memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Warren Co. 1 Main St. Warren, PA 16365,  the Snow Leopard Trust, at www.snowleopaed.org, or to the American Cancer Society at at www.donate.cancer.care.org.
