Obituary
Steven A. Edwards, 62, of Pittsfield, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 31, 2023 at his home.
He was born on April 19, 1961, a son to Gerald Edwards of Spring Creek, PA and Violet (Southwick) Wescoat of Clymer, NY, both surviving him. Steve is also survived by his 2 sons, Andrew (Melissa) Edwards of Youngsville, PA and Robert (Kristin) Edwards of Erie, PA; his grandchildren, Corinthia, Peter, Corban, Bradley & Paisley Edwards and Evelyn Aker; his siblings, Joel (Patti) Edwards and Esther Nickerson; his step-siblings, Mike Nobles, Bill Nobles, Beda Nobles, Krista Wilson, Lori Ecklund, Mary Johnson and Elaine Lambert and several nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Fuller) Edwards who died on November 1, 2020; his grandson, Hayden Edwards; 2 step-mothers, Pauline Edwards and Nancy Edwards, his step-father, Harrison Wescoat and his In-Laws, Charles and Joyce Fuller.
Steve was a member of Warren First Church of the Nazarene and the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, Brokenstraw Chapter. Over the years, Steve enjoyed coaching basketball, baseball and football over many years as well as talking sports. He vividly watched the Raiders play football and the Reds play baseball. He enjoyed watching all of the different wildlife out his windows. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5th at the Warren First Church of the Nazarene, 907 Pennsylvania Ave E, Warren, PA 16365, from 10am-1:30pm at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. J. Maier, pastor, officiating. A private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Pittsfield, PA.
