Velma (Bupp) Bailor

Velma R. Bailor, 98, of Tidioute, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Rouse Warren County Home in Youngsville.

She was born on August 5, 1925 in Zelienople, Pa., to the late Fred Bupp and Mary Eiler Bupp. After high school, Velma worked as a ward clerk at Warren General Hospital. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed and kept her busy, including knitting and crocheting, traveling, going to garage sales and reading Amish books.

Velma is survived by her daughters Patricia (Mel) Eichenberg and Jo Ellen (Craig) Snavley, both of Tidioute; her brother Earl Bupp of Grand Rapids MI; 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, James C. Bailor, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
