Virginia B. (Bell) Maze

Virginia Bell Maze, 96, formerly of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Rouse Suites with her family by her side.

She was born on December 6, 1926 in Ivywood, Pa to the late Sherman and Ella (Bell) Stilley.  She grew up up in Conneaunt Lake and was valedictorian of her graduating class.  She then went on to earn her nursing degree and worked as a RN at Warren General Hospital for 35 years. Through her years, she was a Girl and Cub Scout leader, and enjoyed camping, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She met the love of her life, the late Virgil Maze, and they married May 28, 1948 at Holy Redeemer RC Church in Warren.

She is survived by her children, Jack (Cathy) Maze of Whitney, TX, Jim (Charlotte) Maze of Tidioute, Ted (Nancy) Maze of Warren, Tim (Steph) Maze of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Crystal, Brian, Trevor, TJ, Cody, Jodi and Melissa; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Whaley and her siblings, Richard Stilley, Ruth Stilley, Lena Larson, Ella Hollabaugh, Margaret Nodler and Zella Joslin and Betty Stallard.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Warren Co Memorial Park.
