Dian L. Wolford, 83, of Tidioute, PA entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the home of her daughter, Kim. She was surrounded by her family as she began her new journey.

Dian was born on July 20, 1934 in Warren, PA to Donald A. McIntyre and Lenore Wolcott McIntyre.  She attended the Riverview School and Hunter Memorial School where she was a 1952 graduate.  Following graduation, she married James W. Wolford on August 15, 1953. They were married in the First United Methodist Church by the late Rev. Hugh Stevenson.  James preceded her in death on October 14, 2006.

Following her marriage, she joined her husband in a 22 year career in the United States Army. During this time, Dian made life long friends that she remained in contact with.  Upon military retirement, they made Tidioute their permanent home where Dian remained for 50 years.  She then resided with her daughter Kim and husband, Ron during a brief 5 month illness.

Dian was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 64 years.  During this time, she taught Sunday School for 27 years and sang in the Adult Choir.  Dian worked in the Tidioute School Cafeteria for 20 years, retiring as Cafeteria Manager.

Dian enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family camp. Her greatest love was that of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dian is survived by her daughters Kim Rafalski and husband, Ron; and  Jacki Nuttall and husband, Ted; and sons James Wolford and Larry Wolford and wife, Monica, all of Tidioute; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Donald J. McIntyre and wife Carol of Houston, TX and sister Sherry King of Livingston, TX, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepmother Amy McIntyre and a  sister Gail Zuck.

Friends will be received on Friday at the Tidioute Presbyterian Church from 3-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the Swedish Union Church at 11 am with the Rev. Ralph Culp, officiating. Burial will follow in the Swedish Union Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Swedish Union Church, Swede Rd., the Tidioute Presbyterian Church, 196 Main St. or to the Tidioute Vol. Fire Dept. New Ambulance Fund, 224 Main St. all of Tidioute, Pa. 16351.
