Wilfred C. Walker, 79, of Youngsville, and a resident of the Rouse Home, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at the Warren General Hospital.

Wilfred was born on June 14, 1939 in Kane, Pa., to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Latshaw) Walker. He served in the National Guard for 4 years and then was employed as a machine operator for Betts Assembly Lamp division, retiring in 1995. In October of 1965, he married Madelyn L. Patterson in Ripley, New York. Wilfred attended the Free Methodist Church in Youngsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Lois Kerney, Carolann Fish and Mary Jean Carlson.

Wilfred is survived by his wife, and his children, Cheryl (Dave) Casbeer of Linden, Pa., Steve(Mary Jo)Walker of Williamsport, Pa., Kimberly Walter of Pittsburg, Pa., Scott Walker of Russell, Pa.; brothers Arden Walker of Kane, Pa., and Larry Walker of Warren; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Friends may be received at the Nelson Funeral Home, 314 North Main St. Youngsville, Pa., on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00 am, where a funeral service will be held at that time with the  Rev. Rick Hamrick of the Free Methodist Church and Pastor Allen Jones of the Cable Hollow Church, co-officiating. Burial will be in the Youngsville Cemetery.
