I'm so saddened to learn of Ken's passing. His work with the sports boosters, and especially his diehard dedication to the completion and ongoing management of the one and only Youngsville Community Swimming Pool for all those years set a great example to those of us who worked at the pool in the 60's and 70's. He was such a kind-hearted, fun, and gentle man, a real gentleman's gentleman. I always hoped that when I was an adult I would be half the man Ken was. All of my thanks and prayers are with you, Ken.

I haven't been back in Youngsville in many, many years, but the last time I was home I just had to visit the pool, and it looked amazingly similar to the way I remembered it when left for college. It was as if it had been kept in a time capsule, just waiting for my return.

I'd like to suggest that the pool be dedicated and renamed in Ken's honor. I know of no one that contributed more to it's success.

We were so sorry to hear of Ken's passing! Ken was such a wonderful guy. I am at a loss for words for the love and care that he and Jeanne showed to us and our family while we served Saron. Christina I know is hurting particularly for her Grandpa Ken.

Jeanne and family, learning of the passing of Kenny is such a loss. Our family has lost someone who was so significant to us especially as young children. We have been remembering of those card playing nights. Our times at Chatauqua Lake, the cottage we rented together. Our ice skating ponds!! When I would run into you at times that I returned to Pa I always received such a warm hug and greeting from Kenny. My thoughts are with you and praying you receive strength and comfort during this times.
